Terms and conditions when booking any of our services:
– All prices are an estimate and are subject to change.
– An additional cost will be incurred for any dogs that require knot or matted coat removal. This incurs additional costs because it is a time-consuming process requiring expertise so as not to injure the animal, it also dulls equipment. Any additional products used in knot removal will be charged.
– £30 deposit is required for all bookings. This deposit is non-refundable. The deposit is also non-transferable unless we are notified 48 hours or more before the time and date of the appointment.
– Flea baths incur an additional cost as additional time and costly products are required. The animal will have to sit in the flea shampoo for at least 15 minutes to kill fleas. We also apply skin relief which will need another 10 minutes. We spend additional time and we must use expensive products in order to fumigate the whole salon and equipment to prevent fleas from settling or spreading.
– Please make sure a your pet is well walked and given ample opportunity to toilet before coming to their pet grooming appointment. Please do NOT feed the animal 3 hours before your appointment. Additional fees will be incurred for defecating and urinating.
– We reserve the right to take and use pictures of your pet for social media, advertising and education. If you do not wish pictures of your pet to be used for these purposes, you must notify us at the time of your appointment.
– For the safety of the staff and your pet, we require that you disclose when booking if your pet exhibits or is prone to any difficult or aggressive behaviour
– Pets showing signs of aggression will not be bathed and will be muzzled.
– No liability will be accepted by the groomer for any injury caused by the difficulty or aggressive behaviour of your pet.
– We cannot be held liable for any irritation or reactions that may occur after grooming.
– No liability will be accepted by the groomer when any health problem is uncovered or aggravated by any part of the grooming process. We will endeavour to notify you of anything we uncover during the grooming.
Terms and conditions when booking our Teeth Cleaning services:
The staff will be using the ultrasound toothbrush on the dog which has no vibration, no movement and no noise. The staff will take before and after pictures to show the dog's owner/guardian.
The tartar, plaque or stains will be removed gradually from the teeth during the sessions required by brushing and a non-sharp tool may be used to aid this process.
The staff will stop the teeth cleaning session and you may need to seek veterinary assistance if:
1. Any loose teeth are suspected
2. If the dog objects and becomes stressed or aggressive.
3. Any obvious abnormalities are visible or suspected in the mouth such as a foreign body embedded in the mouth, Oral warts, Oral Injuries or Tumours.
Please note:
1. There may be some minor signs of blood on the gum line during and after teeth cleaning as the tartar and the plaque is removed.
2. If the session has to stop for any health or behaviour reasons, you will need to pay for the full session taking place.
As the pet owner/guardian you must declare that:
1. You do not know of any medical reason why teeth cleaning cannot be carried out on your dog, and you acknowledge that it is your responsibility to inform staff in the future should this be the case.
2. You are aware that the teeth cleaning service is not a substitute for a veterinary inspection and the staff are not qualified to diagnose abnormalities or disease.
3. You acknowledge and consent to all the above and confirm that you are the legal owner/guardian of the dog.
